Loft conversions can be a great way of extending your home and gaining that extra space your family needs, without the stress of moving to a larger property and can be financially a much better option.
Once a meeting has been arranged and we establish which type of loft conversions you require and some basic information, the next step would be to give you free basic costing, so you can decide if a loft is something for you, within your own individual budget.
Next step would be to arrange for our Architect to make a visit at your convenience, draw up your plans and take care of any structural calculations. This would be then submitted to the relevant council for approval.
Most loft conversions would not need full planning permission and would be carried out under permitted development – which means from our initial meeting, we can often start the work within weeks.
We also like to keep the disruption to our clients lives to a minimum, especially if you are living in the property. So we carry out 90% of the building work from above, we only cut through into your home at the stage of fitting the new staircase and with most of work complete it keeps dust down to a minimum and makes for a good working relationship.
